Rocky Dam Project

Exploration Rational

  • North Queensland is considered highly prospective for gold
  • Strong gold endowment includes deposits of different styles (IRGs, orogenic, epithermal and slate belt):
    • 5.0 Moz Kidston – Intrusion Related Gold (sheeted vein, breccia pipe)
    • Moz Mt Leyshon – Intrusion Related Gold (breccia pipe)
    • 7.5 Moz Charters Towers – Orogenic Gold
  • Located 300km NW of Townsville, 100km east of the 5Moz Kidston Gold Mine with exploration targeting Intrusion-related gold mineralization that hosts the premier deposits in Eastern Australia as the target
  • Rocky Dam EPM (26360) covers 84 sub blocks for 272km2
  • Rocky Dam has shallow historic drilling with economic gold intercepts at the Jacks Creek and Suprendre prospects, undrilled gold in soil anomalies and anomalous gold in drainage samples that require follow up
  • There are also strategic metal (lithium, cobalt and Rare Earth Element) mineralization at the Bitumen and Cobree prospects and Wolfram Hill (tungsten).
